The purpose of the shopping website is business marketing. The website is trying to sell all its products in order to earn money. The website shows many different kind of gadget on sale and has listed the price. Customers go to that website to view the products that they are interested in. They will then choose the products that are suitable and order it online. The product that the customer chooses will then be delivered to their home.
I have learnt many things today, like identifying the purpose of each of the website. There are five purposes that the lecturer thought me. Information purpose website is to give some statistics of the topic of the website. This website is just to give some true information to the public. Advocacy purpose website is to get the public’s attention to help those who are in need. Usually this website will need people to donate money to the poor and hunger. News purpose website is to update everyone about what is currently happening in the world. This website also gives true information to the public. Business marketing purpose website is to get customers to buy their products. This website is usually more like an advertisement to get the customer’s attention. Lastly, the entertainment purpose website is open to the public to discuss good things about a certain celebrity. The fans of this certain celebrity will show how much they like him/her through posting their thoughts.
